4 Hour Squad Experience Summer Camp

Meridian Gymnastics Club, 6 Eden Way, Enterprise Park, Yaxley

Join us for our 'Try Out Being a Squad Member' Summer Camps! Gymnasts will try out some different skills based around prep and development work for competitions and building shaping and body strength for progressing in gymnasts. Perfect for experimenting with longer and more challenging sessions - to keep it fun, they will also take breaks for some games and chill out sessions too.

This camp is suitable for children born in 2019 or older who train between 2 and 6 hours per week.

This camp is available to members and non-members so feel free to share the link with people you know. Please be aware that children attending these days MUST fall within the advertised age/ability range and be confident to spend the day doing an exercised based activity day.

Ideally these gymnasts would be able to do a handstand, a cartwheel, a forward roll, be able to circle up on bars or happy to work on low bar skills, walk on a high beam and run and jump on a springboard and do handstand flat back vaults, or work towards improving technique.

This is for a 4 hour gymnastics camp from 12-4pm

Please ensure your child is wearing a leotard or suitable, tight-fitting sportswear. They must bring a water bottle, a packed lunch and snacks (NO NUTS), and any required medication.

Please note, while we always try to accommodate the abilities and interests of the children attending, the gymnasts will be in groups of 8 children of the best matched age/ability dependant on who attends and so we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate gymnasts as well as their regular sessions can.

In addition the staff ratio is 1 coach to 8 gymnasts as per our industry standard and we are not able to accommodate gymnasts who require any form of individual behaviour management or one to one care in terms of health or behaviour without prior arrangement, for which there may be an additional cost. We are always happy to discuss possibilities for safe inclusion within the sessions that fall within our risk assessments and skill set.
